Salinas, Calif. - Monterey County Sheriffs arrested a man in possession of drugs during a traffic stop after they say he walked out of a drug treatment program.
This happened on Highway 183 in Salinas, at around 8:45 Wednesday night.
Deputies say they stopped a vehicle occupied by James C. Rimbey, who had been previously sentenced to several years in custody. Deputies say Rimbey walked away from a drug treatment program.
Investigators took Rimbey back into custody without incident. They say he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, along with a glass smoking pipe.
Deputies also say they charged him with being in possession of burglary tools.
