Police Investigating Salinas Armed Robbery

Salinas, Calif. - Police are searching for the suspect involved in an armed robbery Thursday night in Salinas.

It happened at the Quick Stop on Clark Street at about 10:30pm.

Salinas Police say a 29-year old female clerk was going about her duties in the store, when she looked up and saw an adult male suspect running inside, yelling at her to give him all the money. Police say he was also brandishing a revolver at her.

The suspect then left the store, running southbound on Clark Street.

Police say the robbery was captured on surveillance video.

Investigators describe the suspect as a dark skinned adult male, in his 20s. They say he's about 5'8, 180 pounds with a medium built. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head, black pants, and they say he had a blue cloth covering his face.
