Elderly Female Found Dead in Car, Police Say It's Suspicious - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SEASIDE, Calif.- Seaside Police are investigating a suspicious death near the VA Clinic on General Jim Moore Blvd.

Police said an elderly woman who had been reported missing by her family a couple of days ago, was found this morning in her car near the VA Clinic in Seaside.

Investigators said before her family reported her missing, the woman called seaside police dispatch to alert them she was leaving on her own, because she was having family issues.  She told police she was leaving of her own free will and that she knew what she was doing. 

Seaside detectives are investigating this as a suspicious death at this point.
