1000 Tickets to the Gilroy Garlic Festival Stolen, No Suspects Named

GILROY, Calif- Police say that someone stole approximately 1000 tickets to the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

The tickets were stolen between June 5 and July 2 from the Garlic Festival Association Office located at 7473 Monterey Road in Gilroy.  The association reported the theft to police on July 12.

Anyone who believes they purchased a stolen ticket or may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact Gilroy Police Department (408) 846-0350. Parties wishing to remain anonymous may call We-Tip at 1-800-782-7463 (1-800-78-CRIME).

The stolen admission tickets will not be honored at the entrance gates and will be seized, said police.

The following series of tickets were stolen:

Adults # 050001 – 050500
Children/Senior # 100001 – 100500
