Vegetation Fire Spreading on Rancho Cielo Property Near Salinas

NEAR SALINAS, Calif - Salinas Firefighters and CAL FIRE Crews put out a fast spreading vegetation fire in the outskirts of Salinas.

The fire broke out around 12:15 p.m., Thursday on the Rancho Cielo property on Old Stage Road. Officials with Salinas Fire told Central News that the fire was about 20 acres.

At this time the cause of the fire in unknown.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
    Police responded to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. A witness who saw the stabbing tried to help the victim get to the hospital. He carried the suspect to the car and sped towards the hospital, said police.
