Police Investigating an Armed Robbery at a Salinas Restaurant

Salinas, Calif. - Police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a restaurant Tuesday night in Salinas.

This happened at the Wing Stop on Constitution Boulevard, at around 11:30 Tuesday.

Police say two suspects entered the Wing Stop and ordered everyone to the ground while pointing handguns at them. One suspect jumped on the counter and went for the cash register, while police say, the a second suspect held everyone at gunpoint.

Both suspects fled on foot toward the rear of the business. Police say, about thirty seconds later, a Toyota Tundra pick-up truck with a silver tool box was seen leaving the area. Right now, police don't know if that vehicle is associated.

Investigators say the first suspect is described as a white male adult in his mid 20's, about 5'8" and 150 pounds. Police say he has blue eyes and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black baseball cap, black jeans and a blue bandana over his face. Officers say he was also carrying a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Police describe the second suspect at a white male adult also in his mid 20's, about 5'10" and 200 pounds. Police say he has blue eyes and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a blue bandana over his face. Officers say he was carrying a silver magnum revolver.
