Not Enough Evidence to Charge Giants Player Pablo Sandoval

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif- Some good news from the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Department for Giants player Pablo Sandoval.

Sandoval was accused of sexual assault in June. However, after the department conducted an investigation into to the incident, it said " there is insufficient evidence to support an arrest for the alleged crime."

The sheriff's department has handed over all of their findings, including witness interviews, and biological and physical evidence, over to the District Attorney's office for review.

Pablo Sandoval's Attorney Eric Geffon's statement:

"The Sheriff's Department has completed a thorough and professional investigation and we are pleased that they have concluded that there is insufficient evidence to support an arrest. 

Pablo will continue to focus on helping the Giants towards a playoff run this season."
