HOLLISTER, CAL - A teen was arrested early Thursday morning after he led police on a car chase through the streets of Hollister.

An officer was investigating vandalism at Safeway when he noticed a suspicious vehicle and tried to pull it over.

According to police, the driver, Reynaldo Reyesurbina refused to stop and the chase began.

Both Police officers and deputies chased the car through Hollister. However, Reyesurbina's car had some mechanical problems and stopped on the 1300 block of Westside Blvd. Reyesurbina was taken to the San Benito County Jail.

Police say they found stolen items in the car.

The good news is that police were able to find the owner of the stolen items who didn't even know they had been stolen.
