Victim Identified in Highway 101 Shooting in King City

KING CITY, Calif- Deputies have identified the man that was killed in a shooting on Highway 101 south of First Street Thursday evening.

According to deputies, Ariel Villanueva drove his car into a field off of Mesa Verde Road. Villanueva and his passenger, Davila Ozuna, had both been shot multiple times.

Ozuna, was airlifted to a San Jose hospital for treatment, but Villanueva was pronounced deceased at the scene.
