SALINAS, Calif. -- Four people were sent to the hospital after a shooting spree at a Salinas shopping center, Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called out to the shopping center, located at Williams Road and Bardin Way, to reports of shots fired and multiple victims just after 2:30 p.m.
When they arrived at scene, officers learned from witnesses that two suspects fired upon two intended targets but also shot two other innocent bystanders.
The innocent bystanders, a 39 year old woman and her 20 year old son, were selling trinkets at a stand out front of the O'Reilly Auto Parts store and La Princessa Market.
All four individuals have been rushed to the hospital but officials have not released details yet on the extent of their injuries.
The suspects remain at large.
