Plane Crashes Near Watsonville Airport

WATSONVILLE, Ca.- A pilot is okay after his place crashed into an orchard near the Watsonville Airport this afternoon.

It happened just after 12:30 - when the two seat Sessna 182 was turning around almost immediately after take-off from the Watsonville Airport.

The plane descended into an apple orchard - taking out about a dozen trees with him.

The FAA is investigating.
