No Injuries in Gang-Related Salinas Shooting

SALINAS, Ca. - Salinas Police are investigating another shooting - this time, gang-related.

It happened Saturday morning on Elkington Avenue.

The alleged suspect got out of a black Toyota Corrola and started yelling "Plaza" toward two victims sitting in a car.  

Those victims tell police they the chants to be connected with gang activity.

The two victims started running, dodging bullets that sprayed the ground around them.

After the shooting, the suspect got back in that black Corrola and left.

Neither of the victims were injured and no structures were struck. 

The suspect is described as a hispanic male adult wearing a blue striped shirt and a sombrero.
