Honda Motor Co. said it is recalling about 50,000 2012 Civics in the U.S. because of a potential driveshaft issue.
The Japanese automaker says the driveshaft in these cars may not have been properly assembled, which can cause a loss of engine power or cause the car to roll away if the parking break is not set.
Honda says no crashes or injuries have been reported related to this issue.
Honda says it will begin notifying Civic owners affected by the recall around June 21st. For more information, consumers can call America Honda's customer support line at (800) 999-1009.
