SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- A strong case of irony after Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a drug counselor for selling drugs.

Sheriff's Deputies served a search warrant at 33 year old Kirstin Dempsey's residence on the 3400 block of Kenilworth Ln in Santa Cruz, in a drug sales investigation.

At Dempsey's residence, they found 6.7 grams of heroin and packaging items for sales.

Dempsey was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.

ALTO Counseling Center officials were not available for comment on the arrest.
