Police Arrest Local Antiques Dealer for Drugs, Weapons, Stolen Property

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif - Several police agencies helped in the arrest of a Monterey antiques dealer Thursday during a routine probation check.

The Seaside Police Department Street Crimes Unit with assistance from the Pacific Grove Police Department, Monterey Police Department, and the Monterey County Probation Department  said it conducted a probation compliance check of Timothy Buhl, 46, at his home in Pacific Grove and his work place , "All American Antiques" in the city of Monterey.

During the search of, "All American Antiques," officers found stolen property from a Pebble Beach home including jewelry and personal articles.  During the search of Buhl's home officers seized methamphetamine, a scale, a rifle, and illegal ammunition. 

Buhl was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, and possession of illegal ammunition.  Buhl was held in lieu of 30,000.00 dollars bail.
