Salinas, Calif. - Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a teen of his cell phone as he was walking home Wednesday night.
Investigators say the 17-year old victim was walking on Emerald Way at Stratford when two suspects approached him. One suspect, they say, motioned to shake the victim's hand. According to police, the second suspect grabbed the victim's cell phone from his hand, while the first suspect took his bag from his shoulder.
Police say the suspects then fled in a white Cadillac CTS driven by a third suspect.
