Watch the Full News Conference: Deputies Say Sierra Did Not Know the Suspect

Updated:

Deputies held an 8 a.m. news conference to release new details in the arrest of a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Sierra LaMar.

Deputies say that Sierra did not know Antolin Garcia-Torres before he kidnapped her and it was completely random attack. They also believe the suspect is linked to at least three other assaults in the area in 2009.

Deputies say that the suspect's DNA was found on the bag of clothes that belonged to Sierra that was found abandoned in a field. They received the DNA results on March 28 and since that time the suspect has been under 24/7 surveillance, said deputies.

At this time deputies say that there is enough evidence to charge Garcia-Torres with the kidnapping and murder of Sierra LaMar.

Deputies say that they still do not know how Sierra died or where her body is.

Sierra's mom took the podium and said that the search for Sierra will not end until she is found, "I'm sill hopeful because they have not found a body."

She pleaded with the suspect to give police the information that will lead to her daughter and "end this nightmare.
