Dog Worth $27,000 Dollars Stolen in Scotts Valley

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif-  Naud Robinson calls the last 24 hours an emotional roller coaster ride. He said someone stole one of his two Great Danes, a show dog named Knight worth $27,000 dollars.  Naud said he went to the grocery store Tuesday afternoon. Once he returned, he noticed someone broke into his motorhome on El Rancho Drive Tuesday afternoon, with Knight no where to be found.

"He's like my son. I've been inseparable from him since he was 11 weeks old since he got here from Australia. And it's very emotional for me because I'm worried I won't see him again," said Naud Robinson.

Knight, an 18-month-old male Great Dane, is AKC registered. Naud believes that whoever stole the dog had to know how much he was worth because nothing else of value was taken during the robbery.

"I feel they probably observed me. I can't hardly believe that he would just walk out with them because he doesn't walk out with me. And whoever came in got him had a leash and collar," said Robinson.

Knight may be worth a lot of money, but Naud said it's not about the cash, it's about his passion for Great Danes and showing them off.  Now Naud is making a plea for Knight's return. And if you have him, he has this message for you.

"Take care of him, you know but bring him back," said Naud.

Knight is described as a 175 pounds, 36.5" in height, primarily black in color, white chest, white front legs, white rear paws, white blaze on his face, was unaltered and had been microchipped.
