Man Stabbed While Riding Bike in Salinas - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif - Salinas Police say a group of people stabbed a Salinas man after they cut him off while riding his bike Sunday morning.

According to Salinas Police the victim was riding his bicycle near Towt  and Oregon Streets around 11:45 Sunday morning when a silver colored Nissan Ultima occupied by 3 suspects cut him off. The driver, a female, in her 40's, with a light complexion got out and confronted the victim. The right front passenger, a Hispanic male, late 20's punched him then the rear passenger, a Hispanic male, also in his late 20's stabbed him 4 times in his lower back with a folding knife.

The victim suffered four stab wounds to his lower back. He refused treatment at the scene.

 The victim was robbed him of his wallet containing money and a gold braclet. 

The incident is being investigated as gang related.
