SALINAS, Calif - Salinas Police are looking for an armed gunman who robbed the Williams Road Quick Stop Wednesday night.
According to Salinas Police, the gunman wearing a black hoodie, white sweat pants, and white gloves, walked into the store around 8:45 p.m. and jumped the counter. Officers said he then pulled a black semi-auto handgun on her, took an undisclosed amount of cash and then confronted a second victim.
The second victim, unaware of the robbery, had just walked in the store. The suspect told the man to give him the keys to his car which was parked at the gas pumps. The second victim complied and the suspect then ran out of the store and drove away in the second victim's vehicle.
The vehicle was later recovered a short distance away on Alma Avenue with the keys still in it.
