MORGAN HILL - It's been almost two weeks since Sierra Lamar, the missing teen from Morgan Hill, vanished.
But that's not stopping volunteers at the Klaas Kids Foundation.
They said they'll do whatever it takes to bring the teen home.
"I came to volunteer because I knew I could help," said Irma Mirelas, one of the volunteers.
Bill Lanning is one of more than 1,000 volunteers for the Klaas Kids Foundation who've turned out the last several days, hoping to bring LaMar home.
"I don't think I'll stop until we have an answer," he said.
"We've seen that replicate day after day after day now and I think it's absolutely amazing," said Marc Klaas of the Klaas Kids Foundation.
In three days, they searched a total of 15 miles around the teen's home and plan to hit a 20-mile radius by the end of the weekend.
Even though LaMar disappeared almost two weeks ago, volunteers don't plan on giving up anytime soon.
"We have no intention of suspending the search. What's going to happen is Phase 1 will end this Sunday simply because people flew out and need to return to their families," Klaas said.
The next part of the search begins Monday.
That means continuing to search road sides, hillsides, grids and urban areas.
Lanning hopes volunteers won't give up on the search as time goes by and $12,000 Intero Real Estate today helps.
"We need to have as much new blood as we can," Lanning said. "Retired teachers like me coming here to volunteer to keep it going. It's very important."
