SANTA CRUZ, Calif- Officers are still looking for two suspects they say are among the most wanted in the county. Several agencies in the county have been looking for Nicholas Beus and Justin Gorman. Officers have come close to catching the two suspects a few times but the pair is still on the lam.
Tuesday night Santa Cruz Police recovered a vehicle that they think was stolen by Beus. Police are not releasing any more details about the car, but they say the Beus was nowhere to be found when they got there.
Sheriff's deputies spotted Beus walking with an escaped inmate on February 17. Deputies arrested the woman but Beus got away.
Earlier in the month Gorman was involved in a high speed chase but because of his extensive criminal history, officers decide not to pursue him and just issued a warrant for his arrest.
