SALINAS, Calif. - Dozens of farm workers will be asking the Monterey County Board of Supervisors this morning (Tuesda) to back a state-wide ban of methyl iodide. The workers want the board to pass a resolution urging Governor Jerry Brown to ban the soil fumigant they say is toxic. The meeting will be at the Monterey County Government Center at 168 West Alisal in Salinas at 10:30 a.m.
