Santa Cruz, Calif.- The owner of Mackenzie Chocolates says his busiest day of the year is February 13th and 14th, which accounts for 10% of annual sales.

In four days, Richard Donnelly Chocolates does as much business as during the Chrismas season, so they work overtime to keep up with the orders.

Ashby Confections says their sales are up 50 percent from last year.
