PEBBLE BEACH, Calif.- Tiger Woods came out swinging early Saturday. He shot five birdies in a six-hole stretch in his round at Pebble Beach.
He finished the day 5 under 67, and 11 under for the tournament putting him just four shots behind leader Charlie Wi.
It's the closest he's been to a lead in a regular PGA tour ever since the 2010 Masters.
In Sunday's final round Tiger will be paried with fellow A-list golfer Phil Mickelson.
