SALINAS, Calif.- Salinas police are investigating two home invasions that happened just a little over an hour apart Wednesday morning. The first one happened around 9a.m. on Raven Court. Just after 10 a.m. deputies got a call on another armed robbery at a home on Alisal Rd near Zabala.

Police say the victim at the house on Raven Court opened her door to find a man holding a gun. The woman screamed and tried to shut the door but the suspect pushed his way into the house, said police.

One of the suspects held the woman and her family at gunpoint while two other suspects ransacked the house.

An hour later there was another home invasion on Alisal Road that may be linked to the Raven Court incident, said police.  Sheriff's deputies are investigating the second invasion. Police say the suspects in both cases are very similar.

All of the suspects were wearing black ski masks and one of them had shoulder length curly black hair. The suspects from Alisal Road were seen leaving the area in a white Chevy Envoy or Blazer.

Anybody having information about this crime or that may have seen the suspects in the area is asked to contact the Salinas Police Department at 831-758-7321 or the anonymous tip-line at 831-758-7273 or We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
