The Central Coast is facing strong winds Monday night through tomorrow. The National Weather Service says an approaching front will bring wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour.
A wind advisory is in effect from 10pm tonight through 10am Tuesday for winds 20-30 MPH with gusts between 40-50 MPH expected. The rain arrives tonight with the heaviest rainfall overnight and into early Tuesday morning. Rainfall totals will range from0.5"-2" and will become showers by tomorrow afternoon. Highs today will be in the low to upper 60's with cooler temps on Tuesday.
