MONTEREY, Calif. -- At about 2:14 pm on Sunday, Pebble Beach Fire/CAL FIRE responded to a call for a traffic collision on Highway 68, near the Morse Gate in the community of Pebble Beach. Firefighters found a vehicle in the woods upside down about thirty feet below the highway. The only person in the car was found dead. The cause of the incident is being investigated by CHP.
