WATSONVILLE - Pajaro Valley Fire Department officials are investigating a mobile home fire that left one dead, Thursday morning.
Officials were called out to a trailer on 83 Hughes Road in Watsonville around midnight.
Reports say the trailer was engulfed in flames.
After putting the flames out, firefighters realized that there was one person trapped inside.
The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's-Coroner's office has not released the name of the individual and is reaching out to next of kin.
No other properties were damaged by the flames.
