Nijmeddin to Find Out If He's Going To Trial

SALINAS, Calif. - A Salinas man accused of driving over a homeless man repeatedly is expected in court today (Wednesday) to find out if he's going to trial.  This comes after Adnan Nijmeddin dismissed his attorney earlier this week.

Prosecutors say Nijmeddin hit the homeless man with his car not once, but twice earlier this month on Soledad Street in Salinas after the two got in an argument.  At today's hearing, a judge will decide if there's enough evidence to go to trial.
