SALINAS, Calif. - The Greenfield man accused of beating his girlfriend's infant son to death is expected in court today to set a date for his jury trial. Nineteen-year-old Diego Burgos is accused of killing the baby back in August.
In an earlier court appearance, he did not enter a plea. Burgos was arrested in Santa Clara County on felony child abuse and assault charges. A judge set his bail at $1.5 million.
