Financial Analyst from San Jose Claims $208 Million Lotto Jackpot

Just two days after Christmas, someone bought a winning lotto ticket for the multistate Mega Millions Lottery game from a Long Island supermarket. As it turns out a San Jose man was visiting relatives over the holidays when he bought his lucky ticket.

Daniel Bruckner, a financial analyst, publicly came forward to claim his prize on Friday the Thirteenth. Bruckner traveled back to New York to claim his prize from the New York State Lottery.

His winning numbers were 32, 43, 23, 33, 39 and Mega number 8.

MEGA Millions is a multistate game, played in California and 41 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
