BOULDER CREEK, Calif- According to CHP, Dionisia Verduzco was driving down Highway 9 in Ben Lomond when she crossed the double yellow lines and collided with a big rig traveling southbound Tuesday afternoon.
Verduzco's Toyota then sideswiped a BMW, which then struck a fire hydrant. After that Verduzco collided head-on with a 4Runner.
The only person that said they were injured in the accident was Verduzco, who was complaining of pain, said CHP. She was taken to a hospital and later booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail for DUI.
CHP had to close Highway 9 for thirty minutes so they could remove the vehicles.
