SALINAS, Calif.- Salinas police arrested a man for stabbing his brother multiple times at their home Friday evening.

Police said officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 6:24 p.m. in the low 100 block of Villa St. The victim was found stabbed multiple times. Officers said the victim's brother, Robert Thomas, was arrested after he returned to the crime scene. The victim was taken to a Bay Area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Thomas was booked into the Monterey County jail.
