HOLLISTER, Calif- Monday night Hollister police arrested Humberto Gomez Sanchez after police received a tip that he was at a home on the 100 Block of San Felipe road. Sanchez was arrested the same night that he was featured as a suspect on Manhunt Monday.
Hollister Police Department Officers, assisted by San Benito County Deputies responded but the residents would not consent to a search. After getting a search warrant officers found Sanchez inside the house.
Sanchez was charged with discharging a firearm in public and assault with a deadly weapon.
Sanchez is one of two men suspected of exchanging gun fire in the middle of a residential neighborhood on November 13, 2011. The second suspect, Tomas Venegas Jr. is already in custody at the San Benito County Jail.
