Salinas Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Quick Stop - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif - Salinas police are investigating an armed robbery at the Quick Stop station on the 300 block of Williams Road Tuesday night.

According to Salinas Police just before 5:45 p.m.,  the suspect, wearing a mask, showed the clerk a small black handgun and demanded money. The clerk followed the suspect directions and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash

The suspect then fled towards Haven Alley and may have left in a dark colored sedan. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about  5'5", with a medium build, and wearing black ski mask.
