SAN FRANCISCO, Calif - Santa Cruz Native and Giants fan Bryan Stow is back in a rehabilitation center after being to transferred to a trauma rehab center following a medical scare.
According to the website run by the Stow family, after a few days in the rehab unit, Bryan was transferred to the trauma rehab unit because of a fever caused by possible infections. A physical therapist was still able to come in and work with him and Bryan responded well to treatment.
While in the rehab trauma unit, Bryan's team started to lower the third anti-seizure medication Dilantin. His EEG report showed no seizures and his fever was gone, so he was able to go back to the rehab unit Tuesday night. Doctors are hoping by lowering the Dilantin it will help Stow's confusion and his slow responses.
Stow's children, Tyler and Tabitha, were also able to take their father outside on a patio.
Stow was hospitalized in March after two men brutally beat him into a coma outside of Dodgers Stadium.
