PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. - An exciting new project for a Pacific Grove teenager paralyzed after a drunk driving crash last year is in the works.
Starting tomorrow, Chelsie Hill will have her own radio show along with her dad Jon Hill. It will be on Family Network Radio, a network that provides programming for the special needs community.
Chelsie and her dad will talk about different topics including what it's like to be have a disability and how to stay positive. Chelsie said she hopes to inspire and help more people with her story.
"Life's not over after a spinal cord injury," says Hill. "There's so much to life. I'm so young and my spinal cord injury isn't going to stop me what I want. I hope it wouldn't stop anyone."
This is the latest project for the Walk and Roll Foundation, a nonprofit her and her dad founded to help survivors. You can catch Friday night's first episode online by clicking here.
