SALINAS, Calif.- Almost 75 percent of Americans drink a cup of coffee to get through their day and 65 percent of people drink coffee during the week, so many of you will be happy to hear your cup of joe won't cost a thing on Thursday.
Have you heard of National Coffee Day? Even if you haven't, 7-Eleven will celebrate the day with all its stores in the U.S. giving away free coffee. Mark your calendars for Thursday, Sept. 29. The store has its own caffeinated version of a celebration. On Sept. 29 between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. everyone can make a morning stop at participating 7-Eleven stores to receive a free medium-size cup of hot coffee or cappuccino or latte, while supplies last.
In a news release, 7-Eleven corporate said, "what better way to say 'thank-you' than with a 'good morning' cup of coffee?"
