LAPD Unapologetic in Bryan Stow Arrest - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Los Angeles police chief is standing by his decision to arrest Giovanni Ramirez as a suspect in the Bryan Stow beating case.  Today, Charlie Beck said, based on the information he had, his department made the right decision.

Beck said perception that he ran away from answering questions after Ramirez was cleared and two new suspects were arrested, is completely false.  He said, "I have nothing to hide. I'm more than willing to talk about anything."

Earlier this week, Bryan Stow's doctor reported the Scotts Valley father and Giants fan is showing significant improvement and is able to interact with his family.
