SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. - A multi agency operation in San Benito County cleans up 18,000 pot plants worth close to $100,000 on the streets.
On July 18th and 19th a joint operation conducted by the San Benito County Sheriff Office, along with the California Department of Justice (CADOJ), Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement (BNE), Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team (UNET), Campaign Against Marijuana Plantation (CAMP), United States Department of Interior, and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) eradicated approximately 18,000 marijuana plants. These marijuana plants were seized from a remote location throughout San Benito County.
There were no arrests made during the two day operation. The street value of seized marijuana plants is $ 90,000.00
