One Person Dead In Highway 152 Accident near Watsonville - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

WATSONVILLE- The California Highway patrol says one person is dead after a three car accident on Hecker Pass this afternoon.  CHP Officers said it happened on highway 152 at about 5 pm Sunday evening.  CHP Officers said a truck going westbound ran off the road, over corrected and drove into the eastbound lane, hitting a car.  The driver of that car was airlifted to a hospital where she later died.  Another car hit the truck shortly after the first impact.  Officers don't know why the truck went off the road, but the investigation is still on-going.  The accident shut down parts of the highway between Holohan Road and Watsonville Road.
