James Durbin returned to his hometown of Santa Cruz Saturday to a crowd of 30,000. Durbin performed 3 songs at the Boardwalk.

Durbin spent time before the concert at the Louden Nelson Community Center talking to the media and talking to teens.
Earlier in the day he was even spotted at a local deli, where he posed with fans and talked with Central Coast News reporter, Brooke Holmquist.
Central Coast News had planned to stream Durbin's performance at 5pm. But because the concert was delayed until 6pm, we had to take the stream down in order to do the newscast. We apologize for that.
We did put cameras as close to the stage as was allowed and recorded his song, in their entirety. Those songs are posted on KIONRightnow.com.
We also will dedicate a portion of the 10 and 11 pm Saturday newscasts to playing those songs in their entirety.
