Children no longer have to worry about just being bullied on the playground at school, today they have to contend with the anonymity of the Internet. In this modern world a  Massachusetts woman pretended to be a teenager so that she could allegedly harass a 15-year-old to death.

While most parents are waiting for the laws to catch up with online bullying parents now have one more tool to stop their kids from being bullied online.

ZoneAlarm SocialGuard from Check Point Software Technologies has released a program to allows parents to monitor children's Facebook activities to see if they're bullying, being bullied, friending strangers, or engaging in potentially dangerous online activities, reports CNET.COM.

A little about the program from CNET.COM

Parent can't actually see the child's profile or what they're posting. Instead they get alerts of anything that the software considers to be suspicious.

The program analyzes all friends to see if any appear to be "socially separated," which means that there are few if any mutual friends. It also looks at each friend's profile to try to determine if the person may be lying about his or her age.
