Salinas, Calif-- On Thursday, hundreds of local officers and federal agents arrested dozens of suspected gang members across the Central Coast. Officers called Operation Knockout the beginning of a major crackdown on area gangs and said they arrested some of the most dangerous men and women on the Central Coast.

Central Coast News talked in depth to Salinas Police Chief Louis Fetherolf about Operation Knockout and he says that they are just getting started.
