Coast Guard Rescues Boaters on Monterey Bay

Monterey, Calif. The Coast Guard tells Central Coast News they have rescued five Marina men who were in a boat near the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The Coast Guard said the boat had engine failure early Thursday. There was concern because it was close to shore and even small waves can cause the boat to hit the rocks.

The people on boat called for rescue and the Coast Guard responded. They tell Central Coast News that everyone is fine.
