SALINAS, Calif. - Voters have less than a month to make their vote count in the Nov. 3 election. If you don't want to wait unitl election day, you until Oct. 27 to vote by mail.
Depending on what city you live, you'll find a list of measures. In Monterey County, there are five local measures.
The hot button ones include Measure G, which involves whether or not to incorporate Carmel Valley. Pacific Grove voters have Measure J, a special parcel tax for the library. And Salinas voters will tackle Measure K, the one-cent sales tax for public safety.
The next big deadline is the deadline to register to vote, which is next Friday.
