PG Drug Store Robbed - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. - Police are searching for a gunman who robbed a Pacific Grove pharmacy Monday afternoon.

The robbery occurred just before 2 p.m. at the Central Avenue Pharmacy.  Witnesses say a man showed an employee a handgun and passed a note asking for drugs.  He fled on foot and is believed to have got into a dark SUV headed to Monterey.

The robber is described as a 25 year-old white male with a beard.  This is the second time the pharmacy has been hit by a robber in the past five years.
