ALBANY, N.Y. - Stevenson High alum Mina Harigae finished her Futures Tour career Sunday as the season's top money earner, guaranteeing her a LPGA Tour card.
A third-place finish at the ILOVENY Championship in Albany, N.Y., pushed Harigae to ending up with $88,386. The 19-year-old star, a three-time winner in her rookie season, had already gained a special tour exemption earlier in the year.
"To come in first, it's just the icing on the cake," Harigae said.
Harigae has said she hopes to make her LPGA debut at the tour's stop in Danville later this month.
