The Oakland Raiders signed free agent tight end Kyle Auffray, the team announced Sunday.
Auffray was originally signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in May 2013 before being waived later that summer. He signed with the New England Patriots in June and was waived later in the month, before being signed and waived by the Cleveland Browns this month.
The 6-foot-5, 254-pounder played in 16 career games at New Hampshire as a tight end and punter after starting his career as a quarterback at Mississippi State.
To make room on the roster, the Raiders waived kicker Kevin Goessling.
